The ASCENTEC ONE is our first product and the result of over a year of material research, design development and intensive field testing. A total of three prototypes were manufactured until the jacket met all of our requirements. Our goal was to develop a versatile performance jacket that meets the high demands of alpine activities, from mountaineering or mountain hiking to skiing.

The ASCENTEC ONE was developed in close cooperation with alpinists and climbers. All materials and designs were tested in different environments and weather conditions, e.g. during rock climbing in Joshua Tree, California, on high-alpine glacier tours in the Alps or in the climbing areas of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the Vogtland, our home region in Germany.

The ASCENTEC ONE is manufactured in Europe by a medium-sized company which is specialized in the production of mountain wear. Due to the complex construction of the insulation jacket and despite the use of state-of-the-art technology, the production processes involve a lot of manual work. The ASCENTEC ONE is therefore a high-quality performance product created by many skilled hands.

Designed in Germany. Made in Europe. Tested around the World.
